My kiddos eat breakfast in the classroom in the mornings.. and I have a strict "minutes" guideline on when I should be teaching. SO.... In order to calm my students in the morning, tomorrow I'll be turning on lamps instead of the GOD-AWFUL fluorescents and playing spa music. Daily I'll introduce DO NOWs during breakfast so that I am getting all of my "minutes."
